Acerca del libro
An implausible but almost-true memoir-novel, meant to amuse, confound, bewilder and enlighten, recounting the life of enigmatic protagonist Iris Gorm, who is himself just a paper-thin front for author Stephen Kelley. Set in a semi-fictional version of Santa Cruz, CA in the 1960s/70s and San Francisco, CA in the 1980s, and told in the voice of irascible private investigator Zane Buxtehude, who is himself an invention, ends in n is half romp, half diatribe and half filmmaker's manifesto - which is one half too much.
