Damien Kraut was born in South Africa and raised in the Transkei in the Eastern Cape. It was during his youth that he fell in love with this beautiful area and its many treasures. In 2010 Damien relocated from sunny South Africa to London in the UK where he began his journey in photography. Having acquired a DSLR for the first time, Damien spent time reading up on photography and experimenting with new techniques. He soon found his niche as a landscape photographer and established Replica Studios.
