Jim Hilgendorf studied photography at the New York Institute of Photography and the International Center of Photography. While employed by a major corporation he was able to live many years in Asia and South America where he compiled a considerable collection of fine photographs. Now retired he is pursuing his art full time from New York City. His recent projects have included such diverse subjects as Bristecone Pine Trees, Rodeos, and Lao hill tribes. He is represented by Gallery 14, in Hopewell, New Jersey (www.photogallery14.com)
