In November of 2005 I traveled to Costa Rica for what would be the trip of a lifetime. Over the next six months I explored as many of the countries special places as was possible Along the way I attempted to capture a glimpse of the beauty that surrounded me in the photos that I took.
"Costa Rica" is a 10x8 inch, 120 page coffee table style book that celebrates the natural beauty and biological diversity of Costa Rica.
The book is divided into five sections (Landscapes, Birds, Mammals, Insects and Reptiles & Amphibians). Each section contains dozens of high quality images.

Glenn Bartley is a nature photographer based in beautiful Victoria, British Columbia. He focuses on capturing images of wild birds in their natural surroundings. Although Glenn enjoys photographing all of mother natures fascinating creatures he tends to focus on birds. Why birds? Glenn says it's because there are so many species, they can be found almost anywhere, they are challenging to photograph and they are beautiful to watch.
