Travis Nettles is a devoted father, faith-driven individual, and dedicated public servant residing in McAlpin, Florida. Born prematurely on September 18, 1982, in Lake City, Florida, he overcame significant early health challenges, spending much of his first year in neonatal intensive care units across the state. Raised in Branford, Florida, in a close-knit, church-going family with strong rural roots, Nettles grew up alongside his younger brother Tyson, embracing outdoor adventures, sports, and community values instilled by his parents and grandparents.
During high school at Branford High School, Nettles excelled in football as a running back and baseball as a middle infielder, earning scholarship offers from multiple colleges. He initially pursued pre-med studies at a local community college before shifting to acting and filmmaking, moving to New York to study at a dramatic arts conservatory.
