Giovanni Tessicini was born in Italy in 1955 and has been in photography for more than forty years.
He spent the last twenty years living in La Palma where worked at the "Telescopio Nazionale Galieo" (TNG), the Italian national telescope at the "Roque de Los Muchachos Observatory", located on the summit of the island.
His interests span from the ancient history to physics and natural sciences but his main hobby is photography, both landscape and portrait one.
His photos have appeared in several successful exhibitions, and some of them have been awarded in international photo contests.
