On weekends, and during vacations, Russ follows his passion to use photography to capture the wonders of nature and his travels . Russ’s interest in photography began in college when he became proficient with cameras and darkrooms. Now in retirement, he uses both cameras, Lightroom, and Photoshop to create expressive photographs. He likes to put on hiking boots, slap on a backpack with camera and tripod, and head out to build his fine art photograph collections.

Most recently, Russ enjoys travel and has created several “Coffee Table” books which share the beauty and character of the places he has visited.
