Hannah Thomas is an abstract painter, she attended the University of the West of England in Bristol graduating with a BA hons in Art and Visual Culture and went on to spend ten years living in East London working as a photographer, primarily working in the music sector.

In 2017 she chose to put down the camera and pick up the paintbrush keen to find a form of artistic expression that allowed for much greater autonomy creatively.

Her work is instinctive and focused on a stream of consciousness approach to painting, playing with ideas of Absurdism and chaos.

She is currently working out of her studio in Bradford on Avon and starting a new series of larger scale paintings.
