Acerca del libro
Lucille ‘Comeau’ Amirault is in my mind one of the prolific Acadian historians alive today. A committed daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, cousin, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to many Acadians. Lucille along with her husband Felix live in Aylesford Nova Scotia, and raised four boys Adrien, Lionel, Roland, and Andre. Lucille has dedicated much of her personal life to artistry capturing the natural beauty of Acadia and its trees, as well as writing. She gives her ancestors new life for generations to come, ensuring that the stories passed to her, and her family members are not lost to history. This is a brief snapshot that shows how her family, the Comeau’s, fit into the bigger picture of moving to, and settling in the new world. Originally written for a history class in 1980 it is a digestible gift for all Comeau’s looking to discover where they came from.
