This book is for travelers coming to Zurich who want more than just postcard views—they want the real thing, and maybe a few great street shots to prove it. Every place in here is a personal pick, shaped by two years of wandering the city, chasing light, and avoiding the usual tourist circus.

You won’t find every ‘must-see’ here. I’ve left out the obvious and focused on the kind of routes I’d take a friend down on a good day. Use my map, but don’t stick to it too closely: the magic is in getting lost and stumbling onto your own stories.

The photos? They’re my top one percent. Don’t expect to roll in for a weekend and leave with an album full of masterpieces. But with a little luck (and a little help from this guide), you might just snatch a few shots that matter.
