Acerca del libro
The author's tenth book of his paintings and limericks relating to the animal world and nature. The theme of "Uncommon Bondings" is the surprising symbiotic relationship that exists between animals of different species. One example is the bond between the Egyptian plover bird and the crocodile, where the croc allows the bird to enter its open jaws to feed on the food particles that have lodged between the croc's teeth. The bird is the croc's dentist, and the croc is the birds source of food. There are also limericks and painting describing how different species of animals form binding relationships and care for each other, even though they may be considered mortal enemies in the animal world. As always, the book is written for children of all ages, but the limericks and painting are sophisticated enough to appeal to adults as well.

A former lawyer now pursuing a career in fine art, I am an expressionist painter trying to capture the spirit of my subject, be it man, animal or place. Since 2008 I have written, illustrated and published ten books of my animal paintings and limericks. Additionally, I have published two books of my landscape paintings, each painting relating to the writings of noted environmentalists, naturalists and poets. The theme of my books is the significance of our natural assets, whether they be forests, lakes, mountains, desert, swamps or the wild animals that inhabit the wilderness.
