Acerca del libro
Jake and Ruby Moore are twelve-year-old twins, normal, run of the mill twelve-year-old children with no special powers of perception, no great talents or out of the ordinary brain capacities. Just a pair of normal twelve-year-old kids who live with their mother, in a non-unusual, unremarkable tree-lined street in Mid England. Until one night soon after their twelfth birthdays, the voices started, and more importantly than that, the dreams and vivid visions in sleep had started.
Follow them on their unwanted, burdened journey into Earth's parallel dreamscape Haret, as they are unwittingly thrown into a quest to save mankind. An ever-changing, harrowing landscape awaits them, with the weird, wonderful, curious and strange testing them every step of the way, as they also fight some inner demons of their own.
The first book in a trilogy, that will leave you invested in Jake and Ruby's lives and surely wanting to read on.

Acerca del creador
The author N L Rees lives in a small village called Abertridwr in the South Wales valleys with her partner, two children, Chihuahua, three rabbits and five tropical fish! She has always loved to read fiction of most genres, and writing has always stemmed from this love of getting lost in other worlds and befriending the characters who make those worlds real. She draws inspiration from the many writers she has loved to read since a child, from Dickens to Dahl and from Kipling to Shakespeare, and whilst not at work in her run-of-the-mill office job, she has written her debut fantasy novel Haret : The Gemini Chronicles Part 1, the first in a planned trilogy of books. Fantasy, sci-fi, thrillers and horrors are her main inspirations, but her writing has been inspired by many genres and although her current work is targeted at older children she would love for it to reach a much wider (and older) audience.
