Born of farming stock, my main interests have been the breeding, rearing and training of quality dogs for work in the field with a preference for the development of good hunting dogs. There is no pretence to literary excellence as I do not claim to be a writer, simply an amateur scribe, who in my 80th year presents my first book based on a lifetimes involvement with dogs, starting with a Jack Russell Terrior prior to my teenage years and progressing through to Labradors as an adult.
