Acerca del libro
Burning Man is an annual week-long event held in the Black Rock Desert in
northern Nevada during the last days of August. The organizers create the
infrastructure of Black Rock City, a camp of a scale and organized to a degree
that it feels more like a temporary city, wherein tens of thousands of participants
gather and dedicate themselves to the spirit of community, art, self-expression
and self-reliance. After one week everyone departs, leaving no trace behind.
"As simple as this concept may seem, trying to explain what Burning Man is to
someone who has never been to the event is a bit like trying to explain what a
particular color looks like to someone who is blind.“ Source: Burningman.com
I hope my pictures will give you an idea.

Acerca del creador
Ralf Graebner
New York
Born in the USA, grew up in Germany, studied mechanical engineering before I followed my true passion which is photography. Capturing detail, to be precise. I live and work in New York City, spending more and more time working on a personal fine-art project that I believe soon will be recognized in the art world. But in a less involved, more playful way, I do also enjoy telling stories with pictures, snapshots really, taken in moments I found worth capturing and preserving. Books are the perfect format to share these experiences with others!
