Plastic and metal Waist are mementos of our contemporary life (it’s need, it’s pleasures, it’s vices). We can ask our self’s; How do they appear with such frequency in a context that is alien? Who discarded them? Why? These everyday objects, dangerous and rare, found on the beaches of Rosarito (Baja California Mexico) seem to float, deformed and rusted, in their solitary tragic interior, placed on a black surface that enhances an unsettling beauty and unease.
Lost and Found is a catalog of images of items left behind on public beaches in North America.
